“When I was in printmaking, I wanted to transfer some images onto cloth so I took some acetone and put the images on the cloth and poured the acetone over it and ran it through the press…the fabric just kind just of fell apart and part of the transfer was on there.  I thought it was just marvelous. It was an accident.  And, that the best things happen with accidents, let me tell you.  I am always looking for an accident.”
