What do I do if I registered but did not receive a confirmation email?
First, check your clutter or junk/spam boxes in your email.
You can always go back and register again, since registration is free.
Once you get your confirmation, go back and make your desired purchases or bids!
Contact [email protected] or [email protected] with further questions.
Will I be seen or heard during the event on Zoom?
No, all guests will be muted with video turned off from our side. You may also choose to mute and turn your video off. You will still be able to see and hear the gala.
Do I need to buy a Passport to bid?
No.
How does the Passport work? How do I get it?
Your Passport will be delivered to your home either by snail mail or special volunteer delivery. Passports must be ordered by Wednesday, August 19th to ensure delivery.
We created the Passports as a way to connect our guests more to the gala experience and in lieu of tickets to attend.
What is in the Passport?
All Passports contain the evening program, our evening’s signature drink recipe with essential ingredient, a graphic guide on what to wear to a Steampunk Dada Electric Carnival, a thaumatrope (optical illusion toy), a requisite mustache. Focus on the Masters members will receive extra goodies in their Passports!
What is in the Celebration Bags?
It’s a surprise! They contain items with at least a $25 value. There could be a mix of jewelry, ceramics, and other fun or functional objets d’art.
I think I bid multiple times on the same item, what do I do?
You will get a “High Bid Notification” in your email. If you, in fact, have multiple emails in a row without other bidders in between, then contact us. We will be able to retract your multiple consecutive bids back to the last valid bid. If someone outbids your last highest bid, then your previous multiple bids will be a moot point. Please note that during the last 24 hours of the auction, we may not be able to address this issue.
When will I get the items that I won in the auction?
Items will be available for pick up Wednesday, August 26-28. You will receive a link to a calender with pick-up time and day choices.
How do I get the items I won?
- We will send you a link to “Calendly” for you to select your pickup time.
- Each person will have a 10 minute window for a distanced pickup.
- Place: Focus on the Masters office parking lot behind Ventura City Hall, 505 Poli St.
- Our volunteers will be waiting outside for you! Look for the FOTM sandwich board!
- We will bring the items to you. You do not need to get out of your car.
- Please wear a mask for any communication of less than 6’.
- Arrangements can be made to have the item(s) shipped to you; additional shipping and insurance fees may apply. Limited local delivery is available.
