FOTM has made a special arrangement with Lions Peak Wines for 3 bottles of wine for this special fundraiser event. Each “ticket” will receive a bottle of her 2019 Chardonnay Paso Robles, a bottle of her BFF (a wonderful blend of Bordeaux and Rhone varietals) as well as a bottle of her Zinfadel Port. Included in each “ticket” is two chocolate truffles and a special charcuterie box prepared by the Focus on the Masters team.

Lions Peak owner Jennifer Soni Arant is a true rarity in the wine world… a woman owner/winemaker.  According to WomenWinemakers.com – the figure stands at 6%. Jennifer first saw Lions Peak Vineyards on Valentine’s Day 1991. It was love at first sight,

Paso Robles Bordeaux reds were not known and purchasing a vineyard, farming, and starting a wine business was a big change from her career in interior design. Being a Texan and having grown up in a family of farmers, she knew the challenges of farming.

Jennifer’s passion for the outdoors and her creativity allows her to oversee the winemaking, brand development, sales and marketing, the website, newsletter, and the Lions Peak Tasting Room in Solvang. Continuing education at UC Davis and Cal Poly, and her latest achievement of becoming a Certified Sommelier have taken her further on her journey.

“Sometimes you wear a lot of different hats, and sometimes you’re just down and dirty,” says Jennifer.
