Lakeview
By Lorraine Hall

She studied art at Ventura Community College and has taken workshops with watercolorist Robert E. Wood. “Teaching for the LTS program allows me to incorporate my two strongest passions: to create art and connect with children. I want their art experience to be exploratory, non-threatening and fun. I’m more interested in the children’s process of creating art and connecting with it in a personal way than in the aesthetic result.”

Janet Neuwalder
Born in Philadelphia, Janet Neuwalder obtained a B.F.A. in ceramics from the Kansas City Art Institute, Missouri in 1984. At the Cranbrook Academy of Art in Michigan, she completed her M.F.A. in ceramics under the guidance of Graham Marks in 1989.
